Occupational Therapist – Part Time 0.5 FTE
Reporting to the Manager, Allied Health Services, and as a member of the Rehabilitation Team, the Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for providing clinical services to residents at LBHH and Weinberg Residence. The OT assesses the individual needs of residents, and develops, implements and evaluates appropriate rehabilitation plans and programs.
Located in the Oakridge area of Vancouver, B.C., Louis Brier Home and Hospital is an “Exemplary Status” accredited long-term care facility situated next to the Weinberg Residence (Assisted Living Suites and Multi-Level Care, both Private Pay).

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC, and be eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. Experience in a long-term care/geriatrics environment is essential including strong knowledge of complex seating and swallowing assessment, and strong knowledge of falls prevention and management.
Position: Regular Part-Time position with benefits

Salary: $38.71 to $48.15
