Women's Philanthropy

“I would like to think that someday, when our dreams have been fulfilled, they will say that it was women giving of their ideas and resources that made the difference.”
- Golda Meir

We invite you to join this group of active and involved women who care about making a difference. Women’s Philanthropy emphasizes the importance of women’s giving and reflects the power women have to make their own philanthropic decisions to support the causes that mean the most to them.  There are many ways to become and involved, from attending  events to canvassing or volunteering on a committee.

Chair, Women’s Philanthropy: Susan Hector

Choices

Choices is a celebration of women’s support of our community. Hundreds of women come together under one roof for an evening of inspiration, and are united in one cause: strengthening our community through tzedakah.

Lion of Judah
The Lion of Judah is an international symbol of commitment to the global Jewish community. Comprised of women who make a yearly gift of $5,000 or more to the Federation Annual Campaign, this program has brought together women of all ages and from many walks of life. Today, more than 17,500 women worldwide proudly wear the gold Lion pin to signify their commitment to women’s philanthropy.

Co-Chairs, Lion of Judah: Karly Leipsic and Josephine Nadel
