Statement Regarding Police Incident Near Schara Tzedeck

Earlier today, at approximately 5:00 p.m., the Vancouver Police Department conducted an arrest in front of Congregation Schara Tzedeck.

 

According to the Vancouver Police, the incident was traffic-related and entirely unrelated to the synagogue or the Jewish community.

 

We are grateful to report that no individuals or community facilities were impacted.

 

We extend our appreciation to the Vancouver Police Department for their swift response, and to the many vigilant community members who promptly alerted our security leadership.
