On September 16, 2018, our community gathered to kick off the Federation Annual Campaign at FEDtalks, an evening of innovation and inspiration featuring four speakers from around the world.

• When Zoya Shvartzman came to Vancouver from Moldova as a young teen, she and her mother were helped by Jewish Federation. • When Pamela Schuller’s Tourette’s Syndrome was at its worst, she was asked to leave her synagogue. Now an internationally respected disability and mental health advocate and professional stand-up comedian, she shared three things in her FEDtalk that make a truly inclusive community.
• Rabbi Irwin Kula is the co-president of CLAL, a New York-based leadership training institute, think tank, and resource centre whose mission is to make Jewish wisdom available to all people. Watch this self-described rogue thinker's rousing FEDtalk.
