Register for the JSprouts Spring Term

JSprouts is about to launch, and we’re excited to bring you the details.

JSprouts is a Jewish after-school education program for children from kindergarten to grade three who attend public school. Led by an experienced Jewish educator, students will love the fun, hands-on activities that incorporate Jewish themes into arts and crafts, storytelling, cooking, and music. The program will introduce basic Jewish concepts organized around the holidays in a friendly and accessible way. Participation from guest artists, teachers and rabbis from across our community will further enrich the experience.

Advancing Informal Jewish Education
JSprouts is one of several ways Jewish Federation is increasing access and removing barriers to participation in Jewish community life. Similar programs in other North American Jewish communities have shown that combining after-school care with opportunities for Jewish learning makes sense, especially for working families. Local parents who responded to a Jewish Federation survey in 2018 echoed this.
