India COVID Relief Fund

The COVID-19 situation in India is dire, with oxygen in short supply and the healthcare system on the verge of collapse.

In response, Jewish Federation has set up the India COVID Relief Fund. Donations will support the efforts of the Joint Distribution Committee, our trusted partner in international rescue and relief. They are already responding with urgently needed aid and coordinating with the Indian Jewish community and their longtime local partner, Self-Employed Women's Association (SEWA), to deploy ventilators from Israel to hospitals in Mumbai and Ahmedabad;  deliver oxygen, filtered masks, and other medical supplies to the most vulnerable; and provide urgent telemedicine support to Indian ICU doctors and nurses from their peers in the U.S. and Israel.

We know that many people would like the opportunity to help and would like to do so through a Jewish organization. The JDC is the leading Jewish non-sectarian humanitarian organization, working in 70 countries to lift lives and strengthen communities for over 100 years.
