Youth Futures


Youth Futures pairs at-risk youth with trustees who act as a bridge between the family, the individual, the school, and public systems. These trustees, who are young adults themselves, are trained to create specialized programs that include counseling, tutoring or after-school activities, depending on the particular situation of the child and family.

Youth Futures has a proven track record of helping ensure at-risk youth succeed in school and navigate the issues they and their families are facing.

The program was brought into our partnership region with support from the Israel Emergency Campaign following the 2006 Second Lebanon War. Since 2011, the Youth Futures in our partnership region has received financial support from the Federation Annual Campaign and is serving 160 children in Kiryat Shmona. More...
