Dragon Boat Israel
Dragon Boat Israel (DBI) is a joint Canada-Israel initiative to introduce the sport of dragon boat racing to Israel. The idea originated with the members of a Canadian dragon boat team who thought it would be fun to combine their love of dragon boat racing with their love of Israel.
DBI's very first dragon boat festival took place on May 17 and 18, 2012, on Lake Kinneret in Israel.
Our local team of Vancouver paddlers, Pacific Chai, won gold in their division and finished 7th overall out of 39 teams competing in the regatta. In 2013 Vancouver's team participated as well and won gold in their division, finishing in 7th overall again.

Join us this year as we paddle on the Sea of Galilee on May 28 and 29, 2015! Deadline for registration is February 5, 2015.
