Young Adult Initiatives

Discover and define what being Jewish means to you. If you’re in your 20s and 30s, getting involved in the Jewish community is a valuable way to network socially, professionally and philanthropically. The programs below will help you connect, volunteer, give back, travel, learn and lead.

Are you a young Jewish adult in Vancouver? We want to hear from you. Let's go for coffee. Send an email to our young adult program manager, Anna Labadze, today. The coffee is our treat!

Axis Vancouver

Jewish Federation supports Axis, a network of Jews in their 20s and 30s building a vibrant hub of young Jewish life in Vancouver. Axis connects you to all that’s happening around town and it's a platform to create events you want to see in the community – from beach BBQs, to volunteer projects, to leadership programs, travel experiences, and more.

We are passionate about making Vancouver a meaningful, relevant, and fun place young Jews call "home." Whether you’re new to the city or a born-and-bred Vancouverite, a university student or working professional, observant or unaffiliated, single or married - we want you to get involved. So reach out, get connected and be a part of our community!

Ben Gurion Society

The Ben Gurion Society (BGS) is Jewish Federation’s national donor recognition program for young professionals ages 25-45 who support our community through the Federation Annual Campaign with a gift of $1,000 or more.

BGS members embody David Ben-Gurion’s legacy of young men and women who use their passion and resources to build a stronger Jewish community at home, in Israel and around the world.
