Mental Health Guide for Everyone

The events since October 7th may have increased feelings of anxiety, depression, or trauma for you and your family. While it is natural to have these feelings, it is vital to seek support to work through thoughts and feelings when they continue to impact your mental wellness. While some choose private counselling, an array of Jewish and non-Jewish resources is available at no cost.

Wait times may be long, but they vary, so we are including multiple resources in this booklet. If you or your loved one needs support, the first step would be to call any of the mental health resources listed below to inquire about their wait times and intake assessment processes.

Counselling support can also be found in public and private schools, post-secondary institutions, and extended health plans. Connecting with Rabbis is also a way to receive support and comfort.
