A volunteer women’s organization dedicated to furthering social welfare and education in the Jewish and general community through social action and community service. Current projects include: Books for Kids, Services for Seniors, advocacy for self-referred breast screening across Canada for women over 40, funding support for preschool and daycare programs with Vancouver School Board, HIPPY, YWCA and Talmud Torah’s Literacy Day; environmental awareness projects and ALUMA, the Israel Family Counselling Agency. NCJW supports the Israel Family Counselling Association in Israel through their annual Israeli Brunch.
