Guided by the wisdom and values of our Jewish tradition, JFS delivers a continuum of social services to individuals and families of all ages and stages of life, supporting them to live healthy and productive lives.
Family & Adult Resources: Jewish Family Services provides financial aid, access to the Jewish Food Bank and four Jewish Food Link community hubs in the Tri-Cities, Richmond, South Surrey/White Rock, and the North Shore, housing assistance and advocacy, and mental health counselling.
Seniors Services: Seniors have access to Home Support and Better at Home Programs, care management, seniors meals program, seniors outreach events such as luncheons and Meet and Greet breakfasts, and financial support for low income Holocaust survivors.
Counselling & Wellness: Jewish Family Services provides counselling therapy services on a sliding scale fee for the Jewish and broader community, mental health outreach for individuals living with mental health concerns, and helps identify and prevent at-risk behaviours through the YOU Matter Program.
Employment Services: One-on-one job search/employment counselling and coaching, resume and cover letter development, interview preparation, and employment workshops to help with any professional and career development plans.
