The theme of this year's spring concert, in celebration of the choir's 40th Anniversary, is Freylekhe lider: Yiddish Party Songs. Our special guest artist is singer/songwriter and guitar virtuoso Michael Friedman, son of the choir's founders, Searle and Sylvia Friedman. The choir will perform upbeat happy music, mostly Yiddish, arranged by Searle, current conductor David Millard, plus a few songs arranged by former accompanist Elliott Dainow and current choir tenor Dan Carkner. The concert will be followed by a reception of light refreshments.
