Get ready for some schmoozin' and brewsin' with friends new and old and hang out in the sukkah!

Join us for craft beer and cider and an interactive discussion about the Four Species of Sukkot and Israel's cultural dilemma: Building from a speech by Israeli President Reuven Rivlin that examines the demographics of Israel and how its society has transformed in the last 30 years to create a "new Israeli order," we'll explore how the culture of Israel has changed; if we need to shake up the trajectory, and whether or not diaspora Jews play a part in all of it; and just as we wrap the four species of Sukkot together, explore what are the shared values Israelis can unite around.

Elad Pelleg, shalich for Camp Miriam-Habonim Dror, will lead us in our dynamic Sukkot-themed salon.

We're keeping our beer and cider offerings local and we'll have some nosh for your belly, too. Bring your friends or meet new ones here. Generously supported by New Israel Fund of Canada and Ameinu.

Or Shalom is open to all - no membership is required to check out our events. Wanna go? Let us know! Email Shelley at programs@orshalom.ca if you have questions.
