Join us for a special talk with Daniel Falk, Professor of Classics and Ancient Mediterranean Studies and Chaiken Family Chair in Jewish Studies at Penn State University. An expert in the history and literature of ancient Judaism and the beginnings of Christianity, especially the development of prayer and liturgy, interpretation of scripture, and the formation of religious communities, Professor Falk is a member of the International Team of Editors of the Dead Sea Scrolls. This is a rare opportunity to hear from someone so well-versed in the study of the Dead Sea Scrolls.
