Join Alex Leslie and Rabbi Arik for a practice-based exploration of Rabbi Kalonymous Kalman Shapira’s meditation teachings. We will engage with his book Conscious Community, focusing on the practice of Hashkata (“quieting the mind”) as preparation for prayer and inner reflection. The study group will also explore parallels with Zen Buddhist practices, applying these teachings to cultivate deeper mindfulness, intention, and compassion in our daily lives.
