Canadian Hadassah-WIZO Vancouver presents : Building your own Social Justice Seder – a Talk by Rabbi Joshua Corber. Planning to lead a seder? Or maybe you’re attending one and you want to bring some questions with you? Rabbi Joshua Corber, a seasoned Seder-leader, will offer his advice on crafting a Seder that, while celebrating the past Exodus, will push us to expand our thinking into contemporary issues of freedom and justice. We will discover how ancient texts can still serve as guiding lights to illuminate a sometimes dark world and move humanity from slavery to freedom. You’ll get an overall sense of the structure of the Seder, tips on how to integrate and moderate the traditional and contemporary elements, and you’ll get exposed to some of the issues that have appeared in past Seders. http://www.chw.ca/vancouver/en/page/198/?Events and Fundraisers
