Featuring Lisa Friedman Clark, who will share her powerful story of confronting adversity and tragedy, and how she came out stronger on the other side.
Sunday, October 22, 2017 | 5:00 p.m.
Beth Israel Synagogue | 989 West 28th Ave, Vancouver
Lisa Friedman Clark likes to refer to herself as the "Luckiest Unlucky" person she knows. Everything in her life has been BIG, both physically and experientially. At 6’1" with bright red hair, she clearly stands out in a crowd. Yet it is her life story, of "dancing between the raindrops", that is most memorable about Lisa. Her life has taken some very difficult turns, and through them all, she has remained extraordinarily optimistic and involved in her work and in the Jewish community. Lisa tells the story of her life; things that will make you laugh and cry, in order to help others understand ways of approaching their own hurdles and disappointments.
