Tricities.jpgThe Tri-Cities includes Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody. The region is characterized by an abundance of excellent parks, walking trails, playgrounds and picnic areas. There’s a sizable population of Israeli and Russian Jews here, and as Vancouver housing prices have risen sharply over the past few years, many young Jewish families have relocated to the Tri-Cities. In collaboration with the Burquest Jewish Community Centre in Coquitlam, Connect Me In hosts many Jewish events here, such as Hanukkah and Purim parties, challah bakes and children’s programs.
