Jewish Federation, together with partners, formed AICRT—the Antisemitism and Israel Crisis Response Team—to increase coordination across the community in the wake of the October 7th attack on Israel and rising antisemitism locally and globally.

What is AICRT?

AICRT is a temporary structure to supplement the efforts of Jewish Federation and its partners to ensure a vibrant, safe, and secure existence for the Jewish community in British Columbia - one in which the community is valued, included, and is free to express its diverse religious beliefs and support for the people and land of Israel.

Its role is to mobilize, support, and coordinate efforts, resources, and strategies, across the community. This represents a new set of responsibilities and deliverables beyond the scope of existing organizational capacity at Federation, CIJA, and other communal institutions.
