Beit Vancouver

Created in 2006, Beit Vancouver is a comprehensive youth services centre in Kiryat Shmona.

A hub for youth in the city, the centre offers its own youth leadership activities and hosts programs sponsored by other youth movements and organizations. Among these are outreach programs for new immigrant youth, NET@, the Hora Goel dance troupe and more. In addition, the building houses a counseling office managed by Kiryat Shmona’s youth services department where at-risk youth can get the support they need.

The Housing Ministry provided the original Beit Vancouver building and three Vancouver-based families donated the funds to renovate it. Ongoing operating support for the centre comes from individual donor funds and the Federation Annual Campaign.

Amidst the many challenges the city of Kiryat Shmona faces, Beit Vancouver has emerged as a jewel, providing a well-rounded spectrum of invaluable opportunities for youth.
