Annual General Meeting June 20, 2016

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our community. Our Jewish Federation is blessed to have committed volunteer leaders who improve our community, and indeed our world, through their service. Please join us at our Annual General Meeting as we honour seven such dedicated volunteers for their leadership and contributions to our organization and our community.

 

Jill Diamond
The Arthur Fouks Award for dedication to the goals for Jewish Federation and outstanding campaign leadership.

 

Neil Pollock
The Harry Woogman Award for consistent and conscientious hadracha v’dugma (leadership by example) and long-standing campaign involvement.

 

Diane Switzer
The Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland Award (Jewish Federations of North America) is named for the founders of Lion of Judah, and honours extraordinary women who have set a high standard for philanthropy and volunteerism and have demonstrated a lifelong commitment to the Jewish world.

 

Judith Cohen
The Elaine Charkow Leadership Award for ongoing leadership in Women’s Philanthropy.

 

Al Szajman
The Lou Zimmerman Award for outstanding campaign volunteer contributions and rapport with the public and fellow volunteers.

 

Lisa Marcoe
The Flori Brown Founder Award for outstanding volunteer contributions and dedication to Women’s Philanthropy.

 

Eric Bulmash
The Young Leadership Award for the service and leadership on the part of an exceptional young adult.
